Battery Operated Three-Wheeler (e-Rickshaw) Assistance Scheme Gujarat, Battery Operated Three-Wheeler (e-Rickshaw) Assistance Scheme Gujarat 2020-21 Assistance of Rs.48000 / – for taking rickshaw Plan to get a battery-powered rickshaw.

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani announced that the state government would offer subsidies to encourage battery-operated two-wheelers and three-wheelers.

Who can apply:

Individual and institutional applicants were the application form will be available:

Tillers of authorized manufacturers by Jedda and Gedaan website, Geda.gujarat.gov.in

List Of Documents To Be Submitted With The Application:

  1. Self-certified copy of Aadhaar card
  2. Self-certified copy of the license to drive a tricycle
  3. Specimen of the race (if applicable)

For Institutional Applicant:

  1. Certified copy of the certificate of registration of the organization
  2. Self attested copy of the organization’s light bill / property tax bill
  3. Self attested copy of the organization’s light bill / property tax bill
  4. Resolution regarding the purchase and use of the organization’s tricycle

Who Has To Submit The Application Form:

By selecting the application form manufacturer and model. : Must be submitted to Dealers / JADA office of selected manufacturers by 31/12/2020.

Priority Standards:

Individual – Rickshaw puller / Women Entrepreneur / Youth Startup Entrepreneur / Educated Unemployed / Scheduled Caste / Socio-Economic Survey.

Institutional – Co-operative Societies / Pilgrimages / Non-Profit Organizations / Local Self Government Institutions / Educational Institutions.

How much subsidy is available from the state government in this regard Rs. 48,000 / – per vehicle

Gujarat Government will provide a subsidy of Rs.12,000 to school students studying in Standard-9 to colleges, with a target of 10,000 such vehicles. Similarly, a subsidy of Rs.48,000 will be given for three-wheeler e-rickshaw for individual and institutional beneficiaries, with a target of 5,000.

Announcing the scheme as part of five development projects, ‘Panchsheel’ Gift, to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday today, Mr. Rupani also announced an Rs.50 lakh scheme for charging e-vehicles for creating necessary infrastructure.

He said that Gujarat is marching ahead with green energy as clean energy. Blessed with round-the-year sunshine, the state has established a unique lead in solar energy, being Number One in the country in rooftop energy, generating low-cost electricity helping households sell the surplus power to the grid. The state has created 510-megawatt capacity1.38-lakh housing units through subsidy during the last three years. The current year’s allocation is Rs.912-crore for 2-lakh housing units.
